This position is for a Customer Support Professional, “CSP“.
Restricted States: Due to strict work from home regulations we don’t do business in these States – California, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, Oregon, Wisconsin and New York.
Duties: A Customer Service Professional answers customer questions and resolves issues over the telephone for Fortune 500 and mid-level companies. A CSP must be able to take calls, identify our Customer’s needs by asking clarifying questions to effectively promote our products, take action to proactively learn new information, report Customer impacting concerns, think outside the box on Customer resolutions and share best practices with others.
Some clients will require you to have a separate landline telephone dedicated to receiving incoming calls with no add-on features (no call waiting, no call forwarding, no voicemail/answering services, no fax services). Long distance telephone service is not required. This telephone line may not be used for any other incoming or outgoing personal calls. Arise does require you to provide us a separate service phone number.
Arise has updated the technology requirements to allow the use of VOIP (Voice Over IP) phone lines while servicing. It is currently allowed for most clients.

All-in-one computers and Apple Mac computers may not be compatible with some client programs. Please refer to the Opportunity Announcement for additional requirements on the Arise portal.
Cell phones, dual boot machines, netbooks, and tablets cannot be used.
Certain client programs may have additional requirements. Prior to selecting a client to service, you will have access to the Opportunity Announcement which will give further detail on what each of them requires.
Yes. You can use your laptop to service Arise clients as long as your laptop meets the minimum computer requirements. Remember you may not use any wireless connections at any time to provide service with Arise and its clients. Your laptop must be hard-wired to a supported Internet connection. Wireless keyboards and a wireless mouse are not supported.

Please note: Mac computers are not recommended for most clients as they do not work well with the Arise system.
Yes. You are considered a Self Employed Independent Contractor and Authorized User and are responsible for your own taxes. You will receive a Form 1099-MISC at the end of the year from FABCO Industries if you’ve earned $600 or more.
As an Independent Contractor you are not employed by FABCO Industries or Arise Virtual Solutions. You are responsible for paying applicable Federal, State, and/or local taxes. You are responsible for your own retirement savings. You are not eligible for unemployment, benefits, or overtime.
You are self-employed so the amount of revenue you earn is your choice. Arise clients pay rates range from $9 – $19 per hour. Client opportunities are posted on the Arise portal when you log in. You will be able to click on the green Info button to review the client details, such as the servicing hours available and types of calls you will be taking.
Some Arise clients have hours for CSPs to service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Arise Client pay rates will be made available to you prior to your enrolling in a Client Certification class.
Every person who applies will be expected to pass a background check. You will be responsible to pay the $9.99 fee for this to the 3rd party vendor First Advantage.
FABCO Industries fee is on a sliding scale depending on how many hours you work. You are incentivized to work more hours so you can keep more of your own money.
FABCO Industries has to cover business expenses. Our low service fee allows us to provide you with support during all phases of your certification process and during the course of our ongoing working relationship, continuing education, accounting, revenue disbursement services and offers you the opportunity to service clients without having to incorporate.
The ARISE® service fee is charged for the infrastructure that Arise provides, including the ARISE® 24-Hour Client Technical Support Help Desk and STARMATIC® scheduling system and WILLOW® accounting services.
You are responsible for the Arise semi-monthly service fee of $19.75. This is taken out of your paycheck upfront. No fees are charged until the first invoice period after you begin providing customer interaction services to your first Arise client of your choice.
Arise does not compensate CSP’s while they go through a certification course. As an independent contractor, you are required to obtain the knowledge necessary to provide customer service to the client selected. These are specialized skills that are determined & specified by each individual client. You are paying to become an expert in that client.
The first step is to complete the Arise admissions steps & join FABCO Industries as your IBO, by following the instructions above.
Then you will need to pass your background check which can take up to 72 hours.
The next step is to enroll in the Arise Client Certification course of your choice. Courses may take between two to six weeks depending on the client you choose. Once you have completed this and you are certified with a client, you begin to service immediately. Some clients will have multiple phases of training and will allow you to start servicing as soon as the 2nd phase. You will have access to this information before you select your client.
